Launch of CHOOSE JUSTICE Scripture Study Group

As we are moving quickly into a time of challenges both known and unknown, we need both biblical guidance and supportive community. Toward this end, seekers and freedom fighters of all faiths and life backgrounds are invited to participate in this experimental weekly scripture study group, which will run from Easter through Pentecost.

Our gatherings will take place online on Tuesday at 7:30pm Eastern US Time (which is Wednesday 7:30am Philippines Time) starting April 22nd / 23rd and going through June 3rd / 4th. Each session will be a participatory, cooperative learning experiment in which we forge understanding together. We will engage with scriptures from the Revised Common Lectionary, as well as other scriptures as the Spirit moves. Facilitators include Dong Hyeon-Jeong, Revelation Velunta, Jane Dawson, Will O’Brien, abby mohaupt and Nick Johnson.

This pilot project is co-produced by CLBSJ, the Alternative Seminary, the Garret Collective, and other friends and conspirators.
